A could not find a good summary bur this review does a good job….May, the doppelganger mate of the Silver dragon’s leader Gabriel, has been stuck in Abaddon (Hell) with Magoth, the demon lord, for almost 6 weeks trying to keep from becoming his Consort. She is in this mess because she disobeyed a direct order from Magoth to keep from giving a Silver dragon valued treasure to him thus being punished into her current predicament. She misses Gabriel so much but is confident he is working on getting her out of there somehow.

Gabriel, May’s mate, comes up with a plan with the help of the former demon prince Aisling (yes, a female can be a prince in Hell) to free May.

In typical MacAlister style, this is a hysterical story of how May gets out of Abaddon but, at a huge price. There is the usual intrigue and conspiracies of the dragon septs to deal with as well with three dragon leadership positions in question. There are two quasi-challenges for May Gabriel has to fend off. Add in the fact that Aisling, mate to another dragon sept leader, is pregnant and being coddled to her last nerve by Drake and the reader will end up laughing through most of the book.
