I liked its fast dl and played great. This is gearing up to be a good one though I feel like they dint explain the other races well. I dont even remember them introduced in the first book but I could be wrong. Keep em coming you guys are great community to hang with.

I found the emo humbugery to be a bit to much.. Really can not stand people who mind fudge themselves like the MC is doing in this book. Its not as if he actually sustained a real crippling injury that is constantly causing him physical pain..
Seeing as I have lived with nearly constant joint & muscle pain since the age of 20 18+years now it just annoys the piss outa me to read about a healthy MC who is mind fecking himself over a single incident of trauma that was passing..
Kicks my rating down to 2 stars from 4 for annoyance factor.

This is the author of the Codename: Freedom series. My publisher is the one that takes care of having copies of my audiobooks removed from sites such as this. Because I use a publisher and don’t publish them myself, I don’t have free copies to give out either. So I can’t help you there.
What I can say is this. I have a friend who’s magical talent was unlocked recently. He has a very interesting ability of being able to track people down. When we find you, I will drain your entire body of blood with this grusome blue magic ability I stole from a vampire. Thankfully, I don’t have to ingest your blood because the magic transforms it into mana so that I can absorb it through my skin. It fills me with additional stats that will become permanent as long as I drain someone’s blood once a month for the next year. Don’t worry. I know a nice necromancer who is in need of bones for his experiments so that your skeleton won’t go to waste.
Not sure what I’m talking about? You need to go purchase my Underworld series to find out. :D It’s not on this site, so don’t bother searching. It is on Amazon and Audible.
Btw, if you have enjoyed this series, please do what you can to support the author, er, me. This is my full time job. Buy the books, audio books, or, at least, review and share over on Amazon, Audible and Goodreads. That goes for any of my fellow author’s works.
Btw, I’m working on Book 3 of Codename: Freedom as we speak. It should end up being the longest one in the series.
@MontyII - I don’t normally respond to reviews, but you’re a thief, so I’m make an exception. The entire reason I wrote this “teenager” this way, was because of the wand-wavy way pain and injury is handled in much of the genre. I can understand that you don’t like certain things in your fiction. Go read my other series. It doesn’t handle things like pain in a realistic manor. The entire point of that series is escapism and fun. There is a place for that, but, not in Codename: Freedom.
I had a car wreck when I was in my late teens. I didn’t even experience much pain, just a broken collarbone, but it was over a year before I could ride in a car without it making me extremely anxious. That doesn’t mean it stopped me from getting into cars, but it had a huge impact. That is why I can honestly say, you have no idea what you are talking about. Especially since we are talking about only days after the event happened.
I’m sorry to hear that you are constantly in pain. That too, I have experience with. I’d offer you the ebooks of my other series for free, but you have probably already stolen copies of those as well.
Cheers!
