If anyone can make it at least half way through this book please let us know if gets to be decent. I got to his first hookup and it seems really really really stupid. If anyone soldiered on and can say there is some gold at the end of the rainbow then please do so.

Um yeah, while some people complains Goodreads have really ‘bad’ users and they’re very critical, nitpicking and doesn’t give good reviews, that isn’t true at all. You should go there and read the 1-3 stars review to get a general sense of how bad a book can get. It’s not always accurate but it’s a ballpark. As for this book? It was never ‘good’. All it had going for it was an amazing anime style cover with an erotica wannabe in the inside.
I reallllly don’t wanna be stereotypical against eroticas but, you know. They got a bad rep for bad plots and stupidity.
I’ll give it a try tomorrow. I was hoping the narrator be a girl, but…I’ll see.

I just finished the first hookup. I am not sure if I want to take my words back or not, lol. It’s nothing like an erotica, so I take that back. But I feel like it can be? Or the author wants it to be suggestive but decided to cut the details. Not sure, so wannabe erotica can be accurate too.
Back on topic, think of it as a slice of life kind of story. It is called the daily struggles of an immortal. In this case, it’s a really lame guy fantasy. How does the lamest guy get the hottest girl? Give her a power that only the guy solve.
The book is mostly the development of the relationships and the amazing sex. I haven’t gotten to the plot yet, not sure I will, but a reader on goodreads said there is one but not the main focus of the book. It’s slapped on for the sake of having a plot.
I can understand how this book can satisfy some readers’ guy fantasy.

Oh, 2 stars was for the narrator. He did a surprisingly good job. I take it back regarding a sexy seductive female narrator being better.
This book is not that descriptive for it. It’s better to be narrated this way.

I had a long drive and thought this was going to be like that shadow book. Whoever gave this more than 1 star has no taste unless it was for the narrator. I am not in to books with graphic sex but can handle it in moderation if the story is good. This didn’t have graphic anything even the supposed action scenes were dull, I cant believe it made it all the way to audio.
For everyone that stopped at the 1st hookup, dont continue. If I were to review this i dont think i could come up with anything positive to say, except the narrator who did an admirable job trying to polish a turd. Ot also seems to be the 1st in a series since there was no direction and a half ass cliffhanger ending that made no sense to the story.
Thank you for the up, but i would take a pass on this, imho
