I think people said this was a good book. The description sounds terrible. Is it good? Also if he is the most powerful man in the entire world, pope and emperor. Couldn’t he just send someone, or 2 million soldiers, to go get his bastard son? Or if he has the most powerful wit, cant he figure out how to play it off as a con artist? I mean there is no DNA testing that i can foresee in the book. Seems like the premise of the book doesnt make any sense to anyone with any sense.

The blurb is really frustrating, but it is high fantasy with an interesting magic system and some good characters.
Plus its narrated by Simon Vance. If he narrated a 30 year old phone book I would probably consider listening to it.

Its got a really cool and unique magic system. And just because he is the most powerful man in the world, doesn’t mean he is all powerful.

I’m a waiter and not all powerful either. But I am sure I could go kill someone, anyone if I tried. Not that I want to.
But Yes this is a good series and worth the download. and the $0.00 you have to pay. But might wan to pay for he next in series.

Thanks for uploading this Razaek! Simon Vance truly brings this series to life in a much better fashion than the other narrator for this series. Would you happen to have the rest of the books read by SV?
