Potestia may not have been built in a day, but it’ll burn in one. Lillith has already freed its slaves and relieved the people of their former king, but she doesn’t plan to stop there. With many of her safe houses discovered and enemies lurking in every corner, she has little time to rest anyway. Her only choice is to keep fighting. At least she has the wonderful Sarafyna to warm her heart—and watch her back.
There’s certainly plenty of work for them to do. Lillith and Sara are organizing communities, delivering essential supplies, and educating the common folk about mana. But Lillith isn’t sure just how firm a guiding hand she should have. She wants to empower these people to imagine their own world, without a monarch, but she can’t simply step back and allow another Potestia to rise up . . .
Unfortunately, some of the commoners want another monarch: Lillith. And they’d like her to find a king as well. Matchmakers, however, are the least of Lillith’s troubles. Enemies are hiding in the shadows and waiting to trap her, and all the while a war is brewing. A man claiming to be the rightful king wants to begin a revolution of his own, but can Lillith accept his vision over hers? Or will she be too busy lying in bed, fighting the deadly threat growing inside of her?
It’s a lot for one young woman to carry on her shoulders, but as usual Lillith is determined to meet the challenge.

waste of time… in a second book the main character suddenly comes out of the closet as a lesbian.
If this was mentioned in the keywords tag, that this book is that type of shit, most people would not read (listen to) it.

AncientReader she is pretty clear about being gay in book 1. I think maybe the book about an anarchist for anarchists is not going to drive people away with a gay lead, you’re just the villain in the story, lol

Book 1 shes a tomboy
Book 2 she mentions she is gay
decent books overall
Book 3 goes off the rails and by the end she goes full on unkillable god mode and all plot holes are just filled in with “the power of love”

That is not how this one went, lol.
Those weren’t plotholes, those were unexplained hints at what I thought was a pretty sick reveal. One which used a pretty clearly established magic system and tied a lot of shit together in a neat way. “The power of love” is a pretty shallow reading of it, but I guess an easy dismissal when you want to dislike a story with a gay lead, apparently.
But I guess this happened with the gay reveal too, huh. “She’s calling women hot and saying she doesn’t want to marry a man in the first arc, wonder what that’s about, probably just straight women things”, lol

Her excuse in book one was that she has an adults brain so dating children would be weird, it was book 2 she was “out”
I liked books 1 and 2 it’s the shit writing in book 3 I dislike, not her sexuality
