Best progression author of our generation is quite a stretch. To be honest I’ve found most their work cringe and difficult to listen to, but I’ll give it a try in the hopes they’ve improved.

Not sure if its a problem with the book but i think the at 1:07h it goes back to the begginnig of the book(chapter 1)

OK, this is not my favorite type of story as I prefer darker and more mature plots, but the book is written so well and the characters feel so natural that I binge listened 2 books in like 3 days. The style reminds me of some anime or manga if the authors were actually talented writers. The voice narration is 11, no, 12/10. I have never listened to anyone voicing a book this good. Absolutely brilliant work.

I’m getting second hand embarrassment from the hair. Final Fantasy and Sasuke have damaged the sense of beauty of at least 1 generation. The story seems rather good. I had to misinterpret the the cover from book 5 to get interested in the story.
Luckily there is also a webtoon and a 2h preview on YouTube if you believe it.
The best thing I don’t have to see the hair while listening.

@dito0000 Lmfao THANK YOU. I’ve been trying like hell to figure out who the chick on the cover was and *why* she (as apposed to Noah) was portrayed. It never occurred to me that the “chick” **was** Noah lol🤣!! Again; thanks, mate. That’s been driving me bat-shit crazy; I ain’t played Final (my ass) Fantasy in well over 20 years, and I don’t do Manga (TBH, I barely have a vague idea what it even is. Japanese comic books or something, right?), so I doubt I’d ever have figured it out without your comment. Good on ya! As for the book… Narrator’s voice is kinda like nails on a blackboard, but his presentation is rather skillful. Actus - like always - is friggin’ hilarious, and the book flows well. Ain’t a patch on the *Defiance of the Fall* series nor Zogarth’s *Primal Hunter* series, and *nothing* matches Neven Iliev’s *ELLC* series for sick twisted, **awesome** hilarity, but… yeah. Comparable to Seth Ring. Satisfying length. Interesting and refreshingly novel premise. Magic system is kinda lackluster/generic, but the whole “I can not die. Oof! I died! AGAIN!” plot twist is killer (I can’t believe I just said that; I apologize, and I feel dumber for having done so 🤦♂️)
