No one is sneering at your kids for not having a homosexual relationship. Please remember that a much greater percentage of the population is straight, like always. Straight people sneering to other straight people about not having a homosexual relationship are bullying. They’re using homosexuality as their weapon because they likely share your delusions and probably believe it is the worst thing they can call someone and, yes, that does ’cause’ all sorts of psychological problems to others (the bullying) as well as perpetuates the problems the bullies obviously already have. Accepting homosexuality (or just minding your own business) would really cut down on the anxiety you feel about this subject.

By the by, if your kid wants to be transgender simply because the information he’s getting is that it is cool and awesome and everyone is automatically very accepting of the decision and welcomes the new you with open arms…yeah, never mind. No one is telling your child they can be transgender. What you’re confusing is more people saying it is okay to be transgender since one is either trans or not. Transpeople wouldn’t have higher rates of suicide (and wouldn’t be abused nearly as much) if they could just decide to conform to everyone else.
My hope for the future is your kids are better people despite your influence.
