having problems playing this on my iphone, it recognizes the file but I cannot play it for some reason. Can you please upload a different format?

download the vlc app to use the file on iphone. it is a mp3 that has added features on it so need a player that can play the file.

@mortius - I have an iPhone 5 and the file plays just fine (also plays on my iPod). You don’t really need a VLC app to play it, just drag it to your playlist or audiobooks on iPhone.

im using an iPhone 6 and the file shows up on iTunes on the phone so it recognizes the file but when I try to pay it nothing happens. will try the vlc app. desperate to listen to the 3rd book - such an awesome serie

@sirloin869 - there is no “distortion” on my copy (the upload), and no one else has any issues; please check your settings, or download again

Guys just rename the *.m4b to *.m4a and it should work for non iphone (m4b is proprietary i think).

I have an iPhone 8 and it won’t play. I tried using .m4a instead, but that makes no difference. I don’t want to use the music app to play it because that doesn’t have the same controls as iBooks. Also, it shows up in iBooks as several separate files instead of the one huge file it is.

I had to go into Audio Book Info > Options and change “Media Kind” from Audio Book to Music. Save changes and it will show up like a regular song.

I couldnt find it in my music app, but there is was in iBooks, no need to convert
